In Glasgow, we are recruiting for Wealth Client Service Executives. You will be someone with strong customer service skills, able to provide support and great service to our private bank clients. You’ll work closely with Wealth Managers to ensure the client receives the highest possible standard of service.
The Barclays Wealth & Investments team offers bespoke banking and investment solutions to high net worth clients. Our Wealth Managers act as trusted advisors to their clients, offering them solutions, products and services that are tailored to their needs.
People who join this team will typically go into either a Wealth Management or Wealth Management Executive role.
Here you will develop relationships with a range of clients, ensuring they receive the highest levels of service, acting as a key contact for all their banking and credit advice, and providing them with financial solutions that are innovative and world-class.
To succeed, you need experience not just of building a client base but also of managing ongoing client relationships, including handling the sophisticated needs of individuals and families. With broad experience of the financial services industry and detailed regulatory knowledge, you will be able to offer your clients fluent and expert advice on a wide range of market issues and opportunities.
Wealth Management Executive
This is a key supporting role, which involves helping Wealth Managers to provide clients with the exceptional service they have come to expect. Responsibilities include acting as the main point of contact for clients and handling day-to-day administration across a range of products and services. Another important part of the job is to help Wealth Managers stay organised, whether that means briefing them in advance of a client meeting or researching a prospect.
Our Executives tend to be people with previous experience in a non-regulatory role. This should have given you sound knowledge of banking and operational procedures, along with regulatory awareness and an understanding of security requirements.

Our Global Investment & Solutions team is made up predominantly of technical experts, each one focusing on a different area of specialism. The one common role is that of Portfolio Manager, which involves delivering best-thinking investment solutions to individuals and groups of clients.
Some of the responsibilities that come with this role include working with Private Bankers to build the client base, helping to set business goals and objectives, and playing a key part in developing the business at market, regional and global levels.
We look for people who have a proven track record in sales and the ability to access and influence the client base. The role also calls for relevant technical skills, excellent banking product knowledge, and multidiscipline investment expertise.
